Hand looms, tatreez stitches, silk — worked by the women's cooperative of Saïda.
In the old town of Saïda, the looms never fully stopped. The cooperative gathers weavers and embroiderers whose motifs — cedar, cypress, the eight-pointed star — carry meanings older than the borders around them.
Every piece carries its production lot. Scan it and you'll find the atelier, the run, and what the cooperative was paid.
