Beit Chabab has fired clay for at least three hundred years, and the Njeim family kiln is one of the last still burning. The clay is dug locally, weathered over winter, thrown on wheels the grandfather built, and fired on olive-wood prunings from the same hills.

Each bowl and jar is released as a numbered lot, because that is how the family has always worked: a firing is a batch, a batch has a date, and a date has a story. If a piece survives the kiln's temper, it will outlive us all.
