Coopérative Terre de la Bekaa

In the Bekaa plain, thirty-one farming families pool their harvest under one roof and one name. The cooperative was founded so that small plots — some barely a hundred trees — could reach the quality bar and the buyers that none could reach alone.

Hoda Skaff, who chairs it, insists on two things: members are paid on delivery, not on sale, and every kilogram is traceable to the family that grew it. The premium the cooperative earns over the local reference price is published on every lot page.
