Éditions du Cèdre

Beirut has always been the Arab world's printing press, and Éditions du Cèdre keeps that tradition in circulation: poetry, cookbooks and children's stories printed in the city, bound in the city, in Arabic, French and English — often all three in one book.

Their bilingual children's series exists because the founders kept meeting diaspora parents whose children could name every dinosaur but not the fruit on their grandmother's table. Every print run is numbered and traceable, like everything else on made-ly — a book is a harvest too.
